My Story

Hi! I’m Ethan, the 9-year-old founder of Game Ball Bath Bombs.

If I’m not at school, you can usually find me on a baseball field or at a hockey rink. I love competing, being part of a team, working hard and challenging myself to get better.

And Game Ball Bath Bombs was my idea.

HOW IT STARTED

Playing sports means a lot of practices, games, tournaments and long weekends. I know what it feels like to come home after catching behind the plate, pitching innings, skating hard or spending a game in goalie gear and just wanting to relax.

I thought, why aren't there bath bombs made specifically for kids and athletes like me?

I wanted something that felt cool and sporty — not just another bath bomb. Something I would actually be excited to use after a game.

That idea became Game Ball Bath Bombs.

I started thinking of sports-themed names, different scents, shapes and ways to make each Game Ball feel like something an athlete earned after putting in the work.

And then we started making them.

One of my favorite things about Game Ball is that I actually make the bath bombs myself.

These aren't bath bombs that we buy somewhere and put our name on.

I measure the ingredients, mix the batches, add the scents, shape the bath bombs and help make sure they're ready for each order.

And my job doesn't stop when they're made.

When an order comes in, I help prepare it specifically for that customer. I package the Game Balls, get the scents together, add the finishing touches and include a personal thank-you.

So when you order from Game Ball Bath Bombs, you're getting something that was handmade, packed and prepared by the kid who started the business.

Every order means a lot to me because I know someone chose something that I created.

I wanted everything about Game Ball to feel like sports.

That's why you'll find names like The Squeeze Play, Fresh Legs, The Cool Down, Lights Out, The Lead Off and Clean Sweep.

Each one has its own scent and personality, but they all have the same idea behind them:

You put in the work. We make recovery more fun.

Whether you just finished a baseball game, hockey practice, soccer tournament, football game, dance competition or any other sport, Game Ball is your chance to drop one in the tub, watch it fizz and enjoy some well-earned downtime.

MORE THAN BATH BOMBS

Game Ball is also teaching me what it really means to run a business.

I'm learning that having a cool idea is only the beginning.

I'm learning how to make a product, manage supplies, fill orders, take care of customers, create new ideas, package everything with care and understand that earning something takes work.

Sometimes that means making another batch when I'd rather be playing.

Sometimes it means packing orders after a long day of sports.

But seeing a finished Game Ball order ready to go to a customer makes all of that work worth it.

And I have some pretty big goals.

One of my biggest dreams is to keep working hard at baseball and someday play at Vanderbilt. Game Ball is a way for me to learn, save and start working toward my dreams while I'm still a kid.
